Our Beach

The farm beach is called Cwm Gwyllog, and is a few minutes walk across our fields.

It can only be accessed from the coastal path so is deserted most of the time with the exception of a few walkers and the odd seal. It is a slate beach with waterfall, dramatic cliffs, rock pools and is a great place to take a picnic.

The path down to it is quite steep so young children should be accompanied by an adult and it's not suitable for a wheelchair or those a bit unsure on their feet.

It is safe for swimming and when the tide comes in over the warmed slates the water can get really warm. Well, warmish!

In the winter when the north wind blows we often take a thermos flask down with us a watch the rollers pound the shore.
